I have enjoyed painting the fleeting movements of dancers and trying to convey something of the sound of music as well as the rhythms of dance. Seascapes also offer the opportunity to capture the ever-changing effects of sound, movement and light.

 

I was very privileged  to see these dancers when they visited Durham several years ago!
